Pre-Collection Services
Pre-collection is designed to collect accounts that are past-due but not ready to be placed for third-party collection. This service sends a Pre-Collection Letter as a gentle reminder helping your customers realize the importance of payment, or initiating payment arrangements, while maintaining a relationship with your organization.

Cypress Asset Recovery’s Pre-Collection Services (PCS) are designed to minimize the number of accounts that enter into bad debt status. PCS will operate as an extension of your business office and reduce your accounts receivable days outstanding.

This program is designed to meet your company’s needs, including:

• Customized letterhead
• Contacting customers in your name
• Arranging payment plans

Although companies understand the importance of contacting customers early in the delinquency cycle, some do not have the resources necessary to sustain consistent and cost-effective outbound telephone campaigns. PCS provides a customized, customer service approach to contact customers and remind them of their obligation to pay their account. PCS typically makes reminder calls in the client’s name to recently past due customers and courtesy collection calls to more seriously delinquent customers. PCS leaves a respectful message on answering machines/voice mails if telephone contact attempts are unsuccessful after the second day.

Cypress Asset Recovery PCS first party outbound calling campaigns have proven benefits including:

• Calls deliver more than double the response of a written notice
• Calls generate payments five to eight days faster than a written notice
• Calls generate a higher percentage of payments than written notices
• 70 to 85 percent of customers contacted pay or make arrangements
• Reduced operating expenses

An essential final step to any in-house operation, the final demand gives your client one last opportunity to satisfy their obligation. These services are free of charge and instruct your customer to pay you directly. If your customer decides not to respond to this step then accounts are automatically entered for contingent collections.
